Candle lights, Christmas decorations, soul music and home made food - they transformed the Primary International School into a magic castle last night.
There was definitely something special in the air, all the more evident when parents coming from all corners of Gelderland Province gathered in the elegantly decorated staff room to eat, drink and socialize. It was time to enjoy their moment and savor each other's company whilst the children sampled a cosy, candlelit dinner with their classmates and teachers.
Then, the big moment came and it was all about the excitement of seeing those little hearts of ours performing the most beautiful Christmas songs and dances and poems. Our children's joy, I could see, was reflected in their parents’ eyes as a flow of positive and rewarding energy for everyone.
Acclaimed were also the teachers who danced and sang on stage for the joyous and colourful audience. The Christmas performance - an incredibly well organized event - brought about a wave of happiness and positiveness to all the participants. It was a beautiful and magical way to wish a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
