Family event: The Velleper Donderdagen

E-mail Print PDF

The Velleper Donderdagen happens on the last two Thursdays of July and the first of August in Velp, Gelderland. There is a different theme every week and it is a family orientated event. There is  in fact, something to do  for eveyone. I have been to the Velleper donderdagen for the last 5 years and it always has a really nice atmosphere, especially when the weather is dry and warm.

There will be over 200 stalls selling anything from toys, clothes, CDs, DVDs, books, cheeses, fruit, vegetables, toiletries, mobile phone accessories and many more items that can be found throughout the main streets of Velp. (Hoofdstraat, Emmastraat, Oranjestraat and Rozendaalselaan).

Here is a short video on youtube from last year event where you can see some of the activities that happen on these days.
