As private and professional life are increasingly moving to the Internet – particularly through online social networks – each user creates a cyber-identity with variable levels of details and ability to control its use. It becomes increasingly important to care for one's reputation on the Internet because of the far reaching effects it could have. To recover a once failed reputation is quite difficult. This is a common lesson learnt by individuals and companies.

ARCADIS signs environmental multi-country agreement with Exxonmobil

ARCADIS, the international design, consulting, engineering and management services company based in Arnhem, announced on 5th March that it has signed a five year Multi-Country Agreement with Esso Belgium, a division of ExxonMobil Petroleum & Chemical BVBA for providing environmental services in ten European countries.

I have met her some years ago here in Arnhem, through a common Italian friend, Giovanna Giorli. I was later on invited to her graduation performance in Nijmegen and since then I was enchanted by her voice, became her fan and asked her to give me singing classes!

The Power of your Profile

Without understanding what Social Media is all about many of us jump on the bandwagon of this new buzz word and for various reasons we dive into one or more of the array of online networking tools – without being sufficiently prepared.

Essentially the value of Networking is what people say about you when you are not around – therefore it is all the more important that you project your profile image in the way you want it to be perceived and remembered.

AIS, United for a cause: Haiti

It was very busy on Wednesday morning at the Primary Department of Arnhem International school for the AIS4 Haiti Day. Children of year 7 together with their teacher, Mr. Lee Kirk, were the leading fund raisers throughout the school to raise money for the earthquake victims of Haiti. Proceeds of the sales will be donated to UNICEF.
